Gather around kids, it’s time for a story! You see, back in the heady days of 2009, I began a Tumblr entitled PBH3. Not very original, right?

Well, I’ve consumed enough internet over my lifetime to know what my fellow travelers enjoy and within a few months, PBH3 was lucky enough to be named the number two blog on all of Tumblr. Quite the accomplishment!

But PBH3 really didn’t say anything about the site, so we decided to change the name to better reflect the content. Being Simpsons aficionado, we chose a name from one of our favorite scenes from the Simpsons. Visiting the recently opened Moe’s Family Feedbag (adorned similar to most American chain restaurants), Marge notices an alligator head decorating the wall, to which she remarks “An alligator with sunglasses? Hah! Now I’ve seen everything.”

We have seen literally (or almost literally) everything on the internet and everyday we do our best to provide our favorite funny, hilarious, awkward, WTF, awwwww-inducing pictures from the past 24 hours. And thus Alligator Sunglasses was born.
